Beta-1,3/1,6 D-Glucan (Beta-Glucans) is a bioactive carbohydrate derived from the cell wall of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, commonly known as Bakers yeast. Scientific studies have shown that Beta-1,3/1,6 D-Glucan supports a healthy immune system through its ability to maintain and mudulate several aspects of immune function, including macrophage activity and immunoglobulin production.

NOW® Xtra Strength Beta-Glucans also contains ImmunEnhancer™, a proprietary extract of Larch Arabinogalactan. Larch Arabinogalactan is known to aid in the support of healthy NK Cell activity in response to environmental stressors.
