What is FPO APO?
FPO (Fleet Post Office) and APO (Army Post Office) are the official military addresses for mail delivery to overseas military bases. APO addresses apply to the US Army or Air Force installations and the FPO ones refer to the US Navy installations & ships.

Points to consider when entering the shipping address
After clicking the 'Check Out' tab, you will reach 'Shipping and Billing Information' page. Fill your complete and accurate shipping address details in the following fields:

'First Name' & 'Last Name': Full name as per the bank records

'Street Address 1' & 'Street Address 2': Enter your grade and PSC or unit number

'City': Enter either "APO" or "FPO," as applicable

'State': Either "AA," (Armed Forces Americas), "AE" (Armed Forces Europe), or "AP" (Armed Forces Pacific)

'Zip Code,' 'Phone,' & 'Country': Enter as applicable

'Shipping Method': From the dropdown menu, please select 'USPS for APO, PO Box, HI, AK & PR'

Shipping Timing
The orders received on weekdays (Monday-Friday) by 12:00PM PST (3:00PM EST) are mostly shipped the same day, while the ones received over the weekend are shipped on the next business day. Dispatch delays may however occur due to circumstances beyond our control.

Shipping pre-requisites for APO FPO
Different countries have varied import restrictions. Accordingly, some products may not be shipped to certain APO FPO addresses. Owing to the diverse nature of such shipping bars and their constant modification, our website VitaDigest.com does not specify them. The customers here essentially need to stay updated on the applicable import laws, duties, & tariffs of the respective territories they are based in. In effect, the onus of the eligibility of an order under the local import laws for APO FPO lies with the customers.

Some common shipping restrictions for FPO and APO include but are not limited to:

Weight limit: Mostly within 70 lbs

Dimension limit: Usually within 130 inches in length and width

Cargo type: Perishable food items, alcohol, firearms, and any other harmful materials may not be permitted

Shipping Charges
Before the customers enter their personal and payment information, the applicable shipping charge appears on the page. VitaDigest.com automatically calculates and displays shipping charges when you elect to check out. There will be no "hidden" charges. However, any tax, duty, tariff, penalty slapped during shipping, will have to be borne by the customers. If the shipping fee is not displayed while placing the order, VitaDigest.com contacts the relevant customer(s) to confirm the exact shipping cost before the order is charged.

Cargo Company
VitaDigest.com ships all the orders sent to FPO and APO boxes via United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail.

Shipment Insurance
The insurance for an order is limited to the destination military address. VitaDigest.com is not responsible for any shipment lost by Military Mail. If your order is lost, an insurance claim needs to be filed. As per the USPS regulations, this claim can be filed only 75 days after the date of shipping. Insurance claim processing may take up to 5-6 weeks from the date of the receipt of the claim by the USPS. In the case of an ongoing insurance claim processing, reshipments or refund will not be made until the claim process is over and the due amount has been settled.
